Ben McClaren - Managing Director
Ben is the founder of Inventicus.com and has been working in web development
since 1999. He has a background in developing web based e-Commerce and
e-Procurement applications and has expert knowledge of ASP.net, C#, HTML,
JavaScript and T-SQL. In addition to his programming knowledge, he has
extensive database experience with SQL Server and MySQL and a solid grounding
in a number of Microsoft packages including Content Management Server and
Commerce Server.
Prior to creating Inventicus, Ben was responsible for leading the site and
database development of a number of e-Procurement and catalogue applications
for Systemax Europe, Europe's leading I.T. reseller. Prior to that, he worked
for Ashton Court, a management and I.T. consultancy as a software engineer
developing e-Commerce applications for a number of clients including The Carbon
Trust.
Ben holds a BSc in Computer Studies from the University of Northampton and an
Advanced MSc in Software Engineering from the University of York.
David McClaren - Business Development Director
David has worked as a Senior Manager in the Logistics / Distribution Industry
for a number of Blue Chip Companies both in an operational, planning and
project management capacity.
David specialises in producing innovative solution that best fit customer
requirements.
David has managed a number of high profile IT projects including a "Home
Office" project assessing the viability of RFID in a track and trace operation
involving the movement of Jewellery through the Supply Chain.
David has further managed projects in excess of £25m and has more recently worked as a procurement specialist with a major Blue
Chip high street retailer including extensive use of e.procurement.
David is "Business Development Director" for Inventicus with the emphasis on
identifying customers for the current product range plus new business
opportunities.
